Enga" Tootie" Scott was born March 27, 1958, to the parentage of the late Ralph and Mary Adams who preceded her in death. She departed this earthly world on October 20, 2025.
She was educated in the public school system in Downtown Macon, Ga- Bibb Tech. She loved to cook, entertain and had a passion for caring for the youth. She was a member of Ash Street Church of God under the leadership of the late Pastor C.J. Hicks where she dedicated her life to Christ and later became a member of Greater Overcoming Church of God under the leadership of the late Bishop John L. Cotton. She retired from Macon Youth Development Center in December 2015 after dedicating her time there for 20 years and also worked at St. Cotton's Restaurant.
Tootie was preceded in death by her son Christopher Scott, her parents Ralph and Mary Adams and her brother Michael J. Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Shon'rique Adams Sr., her daughter-in-love Nekita Adams and her daughter Enga Scott. She was blessed with 6 beautiful Grandchildren: Shon'rique Adams Jr., Shondria Adams, Chrishon Scott, Brianna Scott, Messiah Adams and Darnell Stinson, Zaire Moore and Kayleigh James. She leaves behind 4 brothers: Ralph Adams Jr., Dane Adams, DeWayne (Michelle) Adams and Cedric Adams. Two Beloved Nieces Tessa Slaughter and Chiniqua Adams, a Host of Nieces and Nephews. Her Beloved Bonus Daughters: Saketha Jordan, Brittney Stinson, Kewanna Jackson, Lawanda Brown, Tameeka Denmark-Ware and Sierra Johnson. She also leaves behind two Best Friends: Belinda Hollingshed and Vickie Lynn. And a host of other relatives and friends who she loved her dearly.
