The Life & Legacy of Elizabeth
Elizabeth Sandifer Barnes was born Friday, August 8, 1930, to the parentage of Alma Thomas Sandifer and Willie King Sandifer.

She attended Bibb County Public Schools.

Elizabeth joined Mount Haven Baptist Church at an early age and was an honorary member of Stubbs Chapel Baptist Church.

Elizabeth was united in Holy Matrimony to Reverend Marshall Barnes and to that union one daughter, Gayle, was born.

Elizabeth was employed at an upscale dress shop called "Mary Lou's", later she worked as a homemaker for the Roberts family for fifteen years. She later was employed by Robins Air Force Base from 1977 - 1984.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Marshall Barnes; her parents; six children; two grandchildren; and five siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Michael Barnes of Akron, OH, Marvin Barnes of Dallas, TX, Gayle (Coleman) Perkins of Macon, GA and Jarvis (Danelle) Emory of Warner Robins, GA; sixteen grandchildren, of whom two was very special, Latasha Sandifer and Brian Sandifer; twenty-seven great grandchildren, of whom two were very special, Janecia Sandifer and Jaslin Sandfer; seventeen great-great grandchildren; three siblings, Ida Pearl Sandifer, Betty (Josephus) Mason all of Macon, GA and Daisy Henry of Bronx, NY; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
