On August 3rd, 1958, Eileen Freeman was born to Fannie Lee and Roosevelt Freeman. She was the 5th child of seven born to them. On Friday, May 15, 2026, God presented her with her wings and called her home.
Eileen was born and raised in the Bronx where she graduated from William H. Taft High School. She has always been protector and childcare provider. Eileen served as a mother figure to countless neighborhood children. She was always watching (waiting to say "I see you") and her doors stayed open for a child. Tired and fussing she simply couldn't resist being surrounded by the love and innocence of children. They gave her life.
Eileen became a devoted mother to three boys. She moved her family to Macon, Georgia. Eileen married her lifelong partner, Lloyd Green. They molded a family and created memories for over 25 years together.
She is survived by her son's Dannelle, James and Jaquan (Raven), her brother Iockeim Freeman and her sisters Nancy Carnes, June Villegas, Paula Fraser and Ebony Freeman. She leaves 29 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren to carry her legacy. Eileen will forever be remembered by her uncles Charles and Tommie Lee (Rosa) and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
