Eddie Charles Blash

Mr. Eddie Charles Blash was born on October 19, 1962, to the late Lois and Johnny Blash. He peacefully departed this life on February 26, 2026. Eddie was preceded in death by his loving parents, his sister, Ruby Watkins, and his brother, Larry Blash. His life was one marked by kindness, strength of character, and a deep love for those around him.

Eddie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, demonstrating courage, discipline, and dedication during his time in service. He carried those same values throughout his life, earning the respect and admiration of family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Eddie was known for his generous spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever someone was in need. His warm personality, humility, and strong work ethic made a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

Above all, Eddie was a loving and devoted man who cherished his family deeply. He was raised in the church and carried a strong faith in Christ throughout his life, which guided his actions and the way he treated others. Eddie’s love, compassion, and genuine care for people will be remembered by all who knew him. His legacy of kindness, service, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memories  two daughters, Kellie Deberry and Alisha Deberry both of Macon, Georgia; a loving son, Eddie Charles, Jr. of Florida; seven grandchildren; six sisters, Annie Douglas, Kay Curry, Nancy Wimberly all of Macon, Georgia, Connie Stroud, Delois Ates and Joanne Jackson all of Twiggs County, Georgia; a brother, Bobby Blash of Cochran, Georgia; a sister-in-law, Mattie Blash of Macon, Georgia and brother-in-law, Willie Watkins of Twiggs County, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family and friends.
