Dudley Stubbs Obituary

Dudley Stubbs was born on December 17, 1944, in Byron, Georgia. He was the second child of the late Willie Bateman Stubbs and the late Alice Toliver Stubbs. He departed this life on June 26, 2026.

Dudley graduated from Ballard Hudson High School in 1964.  During high school, he was a stellar varsity baseball, basketball, and football player.  He was a die-hard Maroon Tiger.

After high school, Dudley soon entered the workforce. He was a dedicated worker at The Keebler Company, retiring after over 25 years of service.

Dudley was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes.  Through his quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and kind heart, he showed his family love in every possible way.

He was a hardworking man who spent his life providing for and caring for those he loved.  His family was always his greatest priority, and he found his greatest joy in being a devoted father and a proud grandfather.  His love was steady, dependable, and unconditional.

Dudley loved playing golf, tennis, and pinochle with his buddies.

Though he never sought attention or recognition, his life left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

In addition to his parents, Dudley was preceded in death by his brothers Cedric Stubbs, Willie Stubbs, Jr., Ernest Stubbs, and Bennie "Rickey" Stubbs.

He leaves behind a family who will cherish him always, Children: Tyrone Stubbs (Lewanna), Stephanie Stubbs, and Reginald Stubbs; the love of his life, Maxine J. Stubbs; Grandchildren: Joshua Abrams, Christopher "CJ" Stubbs, Deakon Cole Stubbs and Piper Stubbs; Brothers and Sisters: Jean S. Howard,  Larry Stubbs, Linda S. Pitts, Carolyn S.
