Dollie Mae Johnson Adams departed from this life on Sunday, March 12, 2023. She was born December 2, 1946 to the late David Johnson and Naomi Chambliss Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Judge R. Adams and four brothers, Willie Johnson, Early Johnson, Albert Johnson and Fred Johnson.
Dollie grew up in Lizella, Georgia. She attended Bibb County School System. She retired from Blue Bird Body Company in Fort Valley, Georgia. She was a member of White Springs Baptist Church where she attended until her illness.
She had a heart of gold, a gentle soul with a beautiful smile. She was a loving, caring, and giving mother. She loved her children, her daughter, Janice; son-in-law, Michael; granddaughter, Tankeia and great grandson, Donovan were her heart and soul, her life line.
Dollie leaves behind one daughter, Janice G. Jenkins; a devoted son-in-law, Michael Jenkins; four sons, Johnny Goodman, Jr., Derrick Goodman and Bernard Goodman all of Macon, Georgia and Anthony (Sonya) Goodman of Warner Robins, Georgia; devoted granddaughter, Tankeia Warren; devoted great grandson, Donovan Booker; one brother, Grady Johnson of Lizella, Georgia; four sisters, Carrie Moore of Detroit, Michigan, Louise Evans, Jesse Raines and Mamie (Joshua) Smith all of Macon, Georgia and Doris Dumas of Forsyth, Georgia; seven sister-in-laws, Rossetti Yates of Fort Valley, Georgia, Catherine Taylor, Barbara (David) Spearman, Pamela Lee, Melvina (Walter) Wilkins, Marie Adams, Josephine (Michael) Middleton; one brother-in-law, Robert Lee Adams, Jr. all of Augusta, Georgia; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
