Deborah Harris-Ward

Deborah Ann Harris Ward (Garland) was born October 31, 1954, in Macon, Georgia to the parents of Gloristen Marsh Harris and Albert Lewis Harris.

Deborah attended Green Street Elementary and graduated in 1972 from Southwest High and relocated to Orlando, Florida. After retiring from the hearing aid industry, she returned to Macon in 2020. She was caring, easy going and known for her own sense of humor. She enjoyed fishing and laughing with her family, loved ones, pets and friends.

On September 14, 2025, God quietly summoned her while resting in her sleep, to come home to her final resting place.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Lewis Harris of Cleveland, Ohio and Gloristen Marsh Harris of Orlando, Florida; daughter, Tacoma Ward of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and brother, John Bryant of Cleveland, Ohio.

Deborah's memories will remain in the minds and hearts to be forever cherished by her son, Tobias Ward of Macon Georgia; son-in-law, Luke Richter; grandson, Kaden Richter of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; mother-in-law, Queen Bryant Harris of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Brenda Harris Reid of Atlanta, Georgia; LaJuene Harris Williams (Charles) of Orlando, Florida, Shelia Harris of Orlando, Florida, Menka Harris Burney (Anthony) of Macon, Georgia, Tanya Rowland Miller (Paul) of Orlando Florida, Yolanda Harris (Shirley Daniels) of Cleveland, Ohio and Shewanda Bryant of Cleveland, Ohio; brothers, Pierre Rowland (Tamatha) of Macon Georgia, Albert Bryant (Sheric), Tony Bryant, Frizell Bryant(Tiffany) and Rayshan Bryant all from Cleveland Ohalong with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great & great-great nieces & nephews, cousins and longtime friends.
