DeOnte NeQuia "DeDe" Harris

DeOnte NeQuia “DeDe” Harris, 41, was born on May 5, 1980 to the parentage of Walker Lee Harris, Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Harris. DeDe was raised in Jeffersonville, Georgia. She graduated from Twiggs County High School in 1999

DeDe gave birth to a sweet baby girl, Avia Elizabeth Brown, on January 23, 2003.

DeDe was a dedicated employee and asset to Signode Industrial Group (formerly Greif, Incorporation) for approximately twenty years.

DeDe was blessed with a large and loving family.  She had a heart of gold and so effortlessly made people smile and laugh endlessly. DeDe enjoyed traveling with her family. One of her favorite activities was watching Avia perform at dance recitals, church events and festivals.
DeDe was a devoted member at Chance Hill Baptist Church. For the last several years, DeDe attended D.D. Memorial Baptist Church with family, where she recently became a member. DeDe was a woman who had unshaken faith.

She was predeceased by her loving grandparents, Walker Lee Harris, Sr. and Hazel Mae Harris, and a doting aunt, Cassandra Smith.

She is survived by her parents, Walker Lee Harris, Jr. and Elizabeth Harris; three siblings: Jabarli Hollingsworth (LaMonda), Desi Harris (LaShonda), Jennifer Dillard and Richard Stephens (Shaundra); god-sister: Bri’Shonta Anthony; nieces: Eboni Calhoun, Atalaya Watts, A’Jaylen Harris, Adalis Hollingsworth, Ansley Harris, Trinity Snow, Desi Monroe Harris; one nephew: Aiden Hollingsworth; aunts/uncles: Green Smith, Doris Dumas (Bernard), David Stephens (Ragan), David Stephens, Cherry Stephens, Walter Stephens (Ellestene), Alma Mouzone; four great aunts; three great uncles and a host of other dear relatives and friends that she adored.
