Her Life and Legacy
Cora Lewis was born May 3, 1943 to the late Mabell Hill and Jessie Wiley in Twiggs County Georgia. Where she was educated in the Twiggs County Educational System. She worked for many years in environmental services which she later retired and became stay at home grandmother. Cora had a heart of Gold , a great sense of humor , loved the company of family and friends. She opened her home to many and didn’t sugar coat anything.
She accepted the lord as her savior at an early age. She joined Ebenezer Baptist Church with former pastor Rev Jacob Parker. She later became a member of Ross Temple Missionary Baptist with Rev Hill. Where she served as a loyal member until she was called home. Cora was the oldest of 6 siblings Janie Clark(Johnny), Elmo Wiley(Louise), Lisa Humpford (and husband) and The late Anthony and Christopher Wiley.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her beloved sons Larry Wiley Sr, Charlie Mack Williams Jr, and James W aters Jr. Her embraced sons John Brown , Jamian and Xzaiver Lewis. A host Nieces and Nephews, Grandchildren, Great GrandChildren, Great Great Grandchildren; and many many more loved ones and friends.
Cora proceeds in death her beautiful daughters Carrie Ingram, Denise Williams, and Felisa Williams and her beloved son Tommy Williams Sr.
