Celebrating
THE LIFE AND LEGACY
We gather today to honor the life of Christopher Columbus Henderson. Chris, as he was affectionately called by family and friends, was born on August 18, 1975. His parents, Annie Lee Vinson (deceased) and John Henry Huston Jr., celebrated Christopher's birth in Macon, Georgia.
Christopher attended Twiggs County High School and went on to complete his education at Central Georgia Technical College. He later joined the Twiggs County Volunteer Fire Department.
Christopher's greatest pride was his family. He called them each week to stay in touch, keeping everyone informed and sharing his thoughts Chris leaves to cherish his memory his oldest brother, Gerald Dwayne Henderson. He also leaves three loving siblings: DeCarlton Huston, and twin sisters Allison Huston and Allicia Huston. He will also be remembered by his loving and devoted caregiver and cousin, Cynthia D. Henderson.
Chris was especially fond of his cousins, with whom he kept in close contact, Antonio Henderson, Theresa Hill, Michael Cornelius, John L Cornelius Jr, Anthony Stephens, Kimberly Mills, Eugene Stephens, ChiQuita, Garland Martin, Felice Driskell Martin, Laguana Martin, Dana Henderson and Gregory Henderson. He enjoyed their conversations about life and all its experiences.
He will be deeply missed by two devoted aunts, Daisy Stephens and Marie Henderson, and uncle Charles Henderson.
Those who knew Christopher remember his beautiful laughter and his tall stature.
Today, we thank God for Christopher's life. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all he touched.
We celebrate him with love, gratitude, and peace.
Rest in peace, Christopher Henderson. You will always be remembered
