Charlie Curtis Moore, affectionately known as “Good Times Charlie”, was born October 24, 1950, to his loving parents Danny Ruth and Martha Louise Moore. As a young child, Charlie lived with his aunt, Eula Mae in Monroe County. At a young age, he joined William Chapel A.M.E. Church, remaining affiliated with the church throughout his lifetime. He was educated in the Monroe County School system and attended Ballard Hudson High School in Macon, Georgia.
Throughout his active work life, Charlie was employed as a machine operator for over 40 years at Trio Manufacturing Company and he enjoyed his job.
Outside of work, Charlie enjoyed selling fresh vegetables and produce for his grandfather, Mr. Amos Moore. Charlie enjoyed cooking out for family and friends. He loved his family and his dear sister, Zonia. He especially loved taking his nieces and nephews for a ride on the back of his truck.
In the early hours of February 18, 2025. Charlie Curtis drew his last breath and took his leave. He was preceded in death by his parents, Danny Ruth and Martha Moore; his dear aunt, Eula Mae Davis; his beloved brother, Danny Ruth Moore and his dear niece, Roshonda Gordon.
Left to cherish the memories of the life and times of “Good Times Charlie” are his brothers, Robert Moore (Velma) of Macon, Georgia, Benjamin Moore (Pastor Jackie) of Maryland, Zonia (Larry) Pitts of Macon, Georgia, Eddie Moore (Altha) of Maryland; devoted cousins, Rufus Jackson and Catesaha Brown, Bernard Evans, Shirley Battle and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and caring friends.
