Obituary
Charles Wood Ford was born to the late Isaac Ford and the late Jeanette Simmons Ford in Macon, Georgia on August 23, 1945. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Charles Ford was educated in the Bibb County School System and graduated from Peter G Appling High School, Class of 1943.
Charles met and then married Barbara Gallemore and to this union one daughter was born named Felicia.
Mr. Ford worked for The Bibb Manufacturing Company until he relocated to Detroit, Michigan. He retired in 2003 from General Motors, Plant Lavonia after 32 years of service.
Charles was the last of the Simmons Ford brothers. He was preceded in death by Tommie Lee Simmons, Walter Lorenzo Ford, and William Ford.
Charles Ford leaves to cherish his memories by his daughter, Felicia Ford Oliver; his grandchildren, SaCourtney and Jessica Oliver; his great grandchildren, Davion, Karmyn, Legend, Milani, Jaylen and JaZarion; his God children, Latoya and Antoine Pinkston; devoted cousins, Shawn Shanks, Sandra Cunningham, and Carlton Burnam; a host of relatives, and friends.
