Carolyn Brown

In God's infinite wisdom the 30th day of September, 1948, He chose to bring forth a loving vessel named Carolyn Brown. Born to the parentage of the late Mr. Cesar Smith and the late Mrs. Louise Brown Smith. Carolyn gained her educational studies within The Bibb County Public School System.

Having been reared in the admonition of Christ with humble beginnings Carolyn learned the importance of having God first in your life. She later developed a more personal walk with the Lord that led her to fellowship with Christian Temple of Faith.

Carolyn was a very dedicated employee and over the years she held various positions of employment with S & S Cafeteria of Macon and serving as a housekeeper for private residences.

Carolyn, being a person who knew how to have fun & could inspire others to do so too, she was quite often considered the "life of any gathering" with her magnetic smile and joyous spirit. It did not take long for her presence to be felt wherever she was. Carolyn enjoyed baking, playing cards, expressing herself through arts and crafts, but her passion was definitely fishing. She loved to fish and would spend countless hours doing so.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her two sons, Mr. Jonathan Brown and Baby Dixon.

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, a clarion call from Heaven was sounded from the throne room of Heaven and given by the Master himself. Angels having received their orders from Glory, came and assisted Carolyn in safe travels back to the arms of her Creator & her Redeemer.

Her legacy of love and laughter will forever be cherished by her endearing children; Cynthia Knight, Kimberly Robinson, Teresa Howard, Felicia Brown, and Joshua Dixon; a precious granddaughter that she was blessed to raise, Tiekenshia Brown; thirty additional loving grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; one brother, Willie Brown; best friend, Ida Washington; and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
