Carl Michael Taylor was born to George and Elnora Taylor in Macon, Georgia on March 22, 1954. Raised in a large and loving family, Carl grew up surrounded by strong values, deep faith, and the kind of support that shaped him into a devoted son, brother, and friend. He graduated from Central High School in 1972, carrying with him a determined spirit and a commitment to purpose that would guide him throughout his life.
Following graduation, Carl proudly served in the United States Army, answering the call to serve his country with honor and dedication. His time in the military not only strengthened his character but also deepened his sense of duty, discipline, and resilience. After completing his service, he embarked on a long and meaningful career at Robins Air Force Base, where he worked faithfully and built lasting relationships with colleagues who admired his work ethic, reliability, and generous nature.
Carl was deeply loved by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His witty personality, warm smile, and ability to bring laughter into any room made him unforgettable. Whether through his humor, his heartfelt conversations, or the simple joy of his presence, Carl touched countless lives and left behind memories that will continue to bring comfort and inspiration for years to come.
Carl was preceded in death by his brother, Calvin L. Taylor.
He leaves behind three daughters, LaMisha Clark (Reginald), Cemon Taylor, and LaZandra Taylor; his two grandchildren, Taylor and Mason Clark; and his brothers, George Jr. (Crystal), Harry Sr., Robert T., and Alphouse (Jackie) Taylor; his devoted cousins, Reverend Patricia Bacon, Mary Bacon, and James Bacon He will be remembered fondly by all who were blessed to know him.
