The world lost a gentle soul on February 19, 2025, when Calvin Alexander took his final breath. Born on September 11, 1959, in Macon, Georgia, He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mamie-Dale Alexander, and his brother, Carnell Alexander.
He was educated in the Bibb County School System and spent many years working as a dedicated roofing contractor before retiring 19 years ago from Schwartz Residential Roofing Company.
Outside of working, Calvin found joy in life's simple pleasures. He had a deep love for music and could often be found playing his guitar or listening to his favorite songs.
A devoted football fan, Calvin rarely missed a Friday night game during football season, cheering on Southwest High School—his favorite team. He was also an avid fisherman, finding peace and joy on the water. Most importantly, Calvin gave his life to Christ, a commitment that guided him throughout his life. Above all, Calvin loved the Lord and trusted in His promises.
Calvin's memory will be cherished by his Children: Ladarius Moore, Jacoby Moore. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Ricky Alexander, Graylon Alexander, Darryl and Wanda Alexander Pitts and Darren and Trellis Gibson, along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and dear friends.
