Bridie Patricia Farrar Neal, 77, of Macon, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on July 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Born on August 31, 1947, in Eatonton, Georgia, to the late Otis Sr. and Mamie Farrar, Bridie’s remarkable journey was one of faith, unwavering compassion, and boundless love for all.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, public servant, and spiritual leader. Bridie touched hundreds of lives with her love, warmth, generosity, and profound sense of purpose. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Everett Neal Jr., her cherished daughter Kawana LaPriest Neal, her dear sister Doris Jean McElroy, and her parents.
Affectionately known to many as Pat, she was a beacon of hope and inspiration throughout Central Georgia. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Whether offering words of encouragement, a listening ear, or simply a heartfelt prayer, Prophetess Neal’s love for the Lord shone through in every encounter. She believed fiercely in the power of family, making her home and heart a sanctuary for her children and for all who needed solace or support. Her family was her first ministry, and her love radiated far beyond its boundaries.
Pat’s professional legacy was built on over three decades of dedicated service with the Bibb County Department of Family and Children Services, where she volunteered, first and worked tirelessly to better the lives of children and families in need. Prior to public service, her love for young minds led her to teach at Bellevue Elementary and Matilda Hartley, where she inspired her students with wisdom and grace. With gentleness and perseverance, she planted seeds of kindness and learning that continue to blossom in the lives of those she taught.
Prophetess Neal never met a stranger; her welcoming spirit, creative heart, and loyalty made her beloved in her church and local community.
Bridie Patricia Neal’s memory will be cherished always by her devoted five children: Chenita Neal (Dorsha Evans), Tracy Neal (Willie Archie), Kwajalein Neal Scarlett, Everett Lashone Neal (Roni), and DeAndre’ Neal (LaDonna); all of Macon, Georgia.
