A TIME TO BE BORN
Briana Dionne Stephens, beloved daughter of Quinton and Andrea Bridges and the late Issac Stephens, Jr. was born January 15, 1994. She would become a remarkable photographer, devoted mother, and a beacon of hope to the lives that she touched
A TIME TO LEARN
Briana was educated in the Bibb County Public School District where she was a proud graduate of Central High School Class of 2012. She later attended Savannah State University and Central Georgia Technical College where she studied early childhood education and earned an Associate's degree. She used those skills to work as a long-term substitute at Southwest High school.
Briana was a member of Union Baptist Church where she loved dancing with the Praise Dance Ministry and singing with the Women's Day Choir.
A TIME TO TEACH
Defying all odds, Briana had one miracle son, Tabiaz Peterson, Jr. (Gummy) to whom she dedicated her life to making sure that he was well-trained and groomed as a young boy. She taught him to love unselfishly, work hard, and never quit. She ensured he remained active in the community.
Briana was a serial entrepreneur with a passionate soul who captured life's beauty through the lens. As founder of Shooters Photography, she captured memories for families that would tell stories for a lifetime. Despite her short time with us, Briana's dedication to photography was an inspiration to all who had the privilege to witness her in action.
A TIME TO SERVE
Briana was extremely active in the community. She also encouraged many people to follow their dream of entrepreneurship. Having learned the art of giving and sacrifice, Briana shared her love for life and hope at Christmas time by hosting a gift drive for the Children's Hospita where she spent a lot of holidays.
Briana was preceded in death by her father, Isaac Stephens, Jr.; grandmother, Ethel Pearl Ford; and grandfather, Felma Stanley, Sr. She was called to eternal glory on November 15, 2023, with her family by her side.
