Bobby Redmond Obituary

Redmond Bobby Joe Redmond, son of Carrie Bell Redmond and the late Ray Redmond, Jr departed his life on Friday, March 22, 2024. One of seven children, he was born on September 21, 1964, in Macon, Georgia.

Bobby attended Southwest High School and graduated from the class of 1983. Bobby Joe worked for approximately 17 years with Cooper Tires in both Albany, Georgia and Texarkana, Texas as a Mixing Operator. He also worked at the printing press company of Foote and Davis.

While he enjoyed his multiple careers, nothing was more important to Bobby Joe than his family and friends. He was a loving, caring, and supportive son, father, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. Bobby Joe was extremely giving. He would give someone the clothes off his back. You would always find Bobby Joe smiling and laughing. He always knew how to cheer people up. Very charismatic and full of charm, he was known as "Bobby Love"

Bobby Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Redmond Taylor and his father, Ray Redmond, Ir.

He leaves to cherish his memories; the love of his life, his daughter, Taylor Redmond; five siblings, Ray (Fariba) Redmond of Philadelphia, Daniel (Carolyn) Redmond of Macon, GA, Dorothy (Levette) Griswold of Macon, GA, Joseph Redmond of Atlanta, GA, and Gloria Redmond Jordan of Macon, GA; devoted cousins, and a host of loving nephews, nieces, and friends.
