Bobby DeWayne Morgan, affectionately known as “Bobcat”, was born to the parentage of the late J.W. Morgan and Luella Robinson Morgan on December 2, 1965, in Macon, Georgia.
Bobby attended Bibb County Public Schools and he also attended Job Corp. He joined Mt. Sinai Baptist Church at an early age. Later he moved his membership to Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Sam Johnson. Bobby was joined in Holy Matrimony to Melanda Hunter on February 22, 2002, marking 23 years, today! He was a faithful employee of Buxton Construction for 10+ years and worked as a great employee at Jackson Oldsmobile for 25 years.
Bobby departed this earthly life on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, due to a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Morgan.
Bobby leaves to cherish and keep his memories alive is a devoted best friend and wife, Melanda Hunter Morgan, along with two sons, Bobby Morgan Jr., and Jamarcus Morgan; grandson, Jermel Morgan; six stepchildren, Briana Pierce, Tayanaka Pierce, Shaneikia Hunter, Gregory Hunter, Miochia (Jarvis) Walker, Monique (Arthur) Walden; twelve grandchildren; a sister and best friend, Charlotte Perkins; three brothers, Vernon Morgan, Sr., Johnny Morgan and Tavaris Morgan; a devoted friend of 25 years +, Ronnie Davis and Uncle Robert Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends that will keep his memory alive.
