Betty Gray was born August 16, 1953 in Macon, Georgia to the late Josh Graves and the late Mary Anthony Gray.
She was educated in the BIbb County Public Schools. Betty will always be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, a loyal and loving friend with a joyful spirit in God. She had a passion for living life for God on her own terms.
Betty Gray transitioned from life on Saturday, September 2, 2023. She was preceded in death by two brothers, the late Reverand Marcus Anthony and Reverand Tommy Lee Gray; her sister, Pearlie Mae Hood; sister-in- law, Katherine and Hazel Gray.
To celebrate her life she leaves behind six children, Vanclero Gray, Christopher Scott, Jarrett Scott, Sherman Scott, Dexter Scott, and Carlton Scott; future son-in-law, Hakeem Jones; sister-in-law, Cora Anthony; brother-in-law, Johnny Hood; daughters-in-law Virkisha Warren and Linda Gray; six grandchildren; two aunts, nieces, cousins,and friends and her husband in Christ, David Scott.
