Bart Bernard Cobb departed from us on Sunday, February 15, 2026. He was born October 21, 1968, to the parentage of the late Eddie B. Hunt and Alice Mayo Cobb.
Bart, affectionately known as Man, was the life of the party. He attended B.S. Ingram Elementary School and Central High School. He worked several jobs throughout his lifetime, ensuring that his family was well provided for. Bart became a member of the Missionary of Love Church, under the leadership of Pastor Beatrice Battle.
Bart married LaKesia M. Williams on October 31, 2013.
He leaves to cherish his legacy and precious memories to his beloved wife and twelve children, Eric Barrett, John Bernard Cobb, Patrick Williams, Antwan Williams, Jarvis Cobb, Tel’Younda Perlote, Nekosha Barrett, Shanosha Barrett, Diamond Cobb, India Davis, Angel Fossett-Pew and Kierra Williams; four sisters, Gloria J. Flint, Patricia Gary, Ethel Pollard and Sheila (Willie) Nesbitt; four brothers, Charlie Gary, Eric (Marcella) Gary, Eugene (Corvon) Cobb and Howard (Bonita) Gary; two sisters-in-law, Tiawanna Williams and Aquita Williams. Bart is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
