Annie Maude Parks was born on February 17, 1947 in Haddock, GA to Lillie Mae Parks.
Annie Maude was a phenomenal mother, a fantastic dresser and homemaker who loved to cook. She was also a fun-loving person who loved to play Bingo and do crossword puzzles.
The loves of her life were her children, James Harold, Cedric Dwayne, Shonda Renee (proceeded in death) and her bonus daughter, Quanta "Chelle" Threatt.
"Ma", as her sons affectingly called her, was a soft-spoken woman with a warming smile that captivated everyone in her presence. "Grandma" as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren called her, was an active part of all their lives.
Annie Maude is survived by her sons James (DeBorah) and Cedric (Lynn); six grandchildren; Jarrod, La Shonda, Jalice, Cornelius IV, Cheniya and Keldric; four Great-Grandchildren: Brandon, Layla, Javela and Dylan. Also surviving are her sisters: Justine Williams (LaMarque, TX), Gracie Lewis (Hempstead, NY), Lillie Strong (Dover, DE) and brothers: Willie D. Harden (Great Mills, MD), Calvin M. Harden (Milledgeville, GA) and Charles W. Harden (Hempstead, NY); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
