Annie L. White was born on March 31, 1938, in Perry, Georgia, to the late Annie C. and Willie Buckner. She received her education in Bibb County and graduated from Ballard Hudson High School, Class of 1956. From an early age, she was a member of Turner Tabernacle Church, where she nurtured her faith and built a strong foundation in God. Annie was a warm, caring woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures, such as preparing home-cooked meals, shopping, and enjoying outings with her loved ones.
Annie deeply cherished her family and always made time to create meaningful memories with them. She loved spending quality time together, whether sharing meals, celebrating milestones, or enjoying everyday moments. Her nurturing spirit, unwavering love, and ability to bring her family closer will forever be remembered. Annie’s presence was a source of comfort and strength, and she lived her life with grace, kindness, and generosity, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
On September 29, 2025, Annie transitioned from her earthly presence to her Heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Willie Buckner and Mrs. Annie Clyde Buckner, as well as her brother, Willie Buckner Jr.
Annie leaves behind precious memories to her husband, Jackson White, Jr.; her daughters, Wilma White and Geneice Collier; step daughter, Lauren (Wayne) Heandson; brother-in-law, Ray (Jane) White; her special babies, Destiny Fuller, Destin White, Jarius Duhart and a host of special cousins, friends, other relatives, step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
