Mrs. Annie M. Curry was born October 21, 1945, to Napier Riggins, Sr. and Odessa Sutton in Macon, Georgia. She was educated in the Bibb County Public School system. She was employed by the Twiggs County School system for many years but eventually moved to the Bibb County School system to finish her career. Annie was always a teacher at heart. Many of her previous students can testify to how she impacted their lives by her love and wisdom.
A devoted Christian she served in many capacities within the body of Christ. There are countless ministries that were touched by her gifts. There are countless men, women and families that were inspired by her words and deeds.
Mrs. Annie M. Curry was truly blessed. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Johnny “Bill” G. Curry, Sr.; five beloved sons, Johnny G. (Cynthia) Curry, Jr., Bruce E. (Stephanie) Curry, Adrian D. (Lakesia) Curry, Sr., Eric B. Curry and Gregory L. (Martha) Curry; four sisters, Freida (John Willie) Curry, Margie Johnson, Johnnie M.
