Alice Cain born June 26, 1964 to the parents of Marvin Cain and Myrtis Cain.
At the age of 8, Alice began her education at Battle Hill Middle School, later attending Roach-Chambers Trade School in White Plains, New York. At just 15, she became a mother to her beloved son, Ali—a responsibility she embraced with unwavering strength and love.
Alice was deeply family-oriented. She carried her own burdens quietly, but when it came to her family, she would face the world without hesitation. Her love knew no bounds, especially for the Cain’s, Dudley’s, Maynards’, as well as other friends and extended family members.
She created a safe haven for everyone she loved—a space filled with warmth, acceptance, and care.
Alice leaves to cherish her precious memories to her loving son, Ali Cain; a loving daughter-in-law, Joycelyn Mitchell Cain; one grandson, Jalek A. Mitchell, and granddaughter, Ja’layia; sister, Annie Cain; brother, Harvey Cain; niece, and nephew, Kim and Richard Cain; cousins, Dudley, Harpe, and Locketts.
Today, we lay Alice to rest as a blessing in all our lives. And just as we came together in peace and love, we leave the same way—grateful for her life and legacy.
