Adonis Theray Murray, Sr., born on August 10, 1972, in Columbus, Georgia, passed away on December 23, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the beloved son of Luster Walker and the late Diane Murray.

A graduate of Southeast High School in Macon, Georgia, Adonis pursued a fulfilling professional career, dedicating his talents to TOTO USA and North Atlantic High School. His strong work ethic and dedication to his roles made him a cherished colleague and mentor. Adonis approached every task with determination, leaving a legacy of excellence and commitment.

Adonis’s love for sports, particularly basketball and football, was a defining part of his life. Whether cheering from the sidelines or participating in friendly matches, he shared his enthusiasm with family and friends, fostering connections and memories that will be treasured for years to come. His passion for sports was rivaled only by his devotion to his loved ones.

As a devoted husband to Jenifer Murray and a proud father, Adonis’s family was his world. He found immense joy in nurturing and supporting his children: Adonis Murray, Jr., Adonte Foster, and Jakiya Foster. He also embraced the role of a stepfather to Antonio Haywood, Jameisha Davis, Teliayah Davis, Wytazia Farmer, Jasmine Jefferson, and Samiya Jefferson, providing love, guidance, and unwavering support. His family was a testament to his selflessness and unwavering dedication.

Adonis’s kindness extended far beyond his family. He was a dependable friend and a pillar of support for his community. His vibrant spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand will be remembered by his siblings, three brothers, Leonardo Wooten, Calvin (DOC) Wooten, and Airrus Wooten; two sisters, Mae Murray and Gail Wooten; three sisters-in-law, Kelly Farmer, Bridget Farmer, and Deborah Jones; two brothers-in-law, Melvin Jones and Michael Devoise; aunts, Sheila Whitby and Rena Primus; uncle, Roland Murray; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Adonis’s love, generosity, and infectious smile will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
