Aarion Harris Obituary

Aarion Q. Harris was born in Macon, Georgia on April 17, 1991, to the proud parents, the late Grady Harris and MyDeria Watson.

Aarion shared his childhood with his older brother, Deshunta Q. Hicks, affectionately known as “Shun”.  Their brotherly bond created precious memories through countless talks, brotherly love, and laughter.

Aarion attended elementary and high school in Macon-Bibb County and  pursed his associate degree from Central Georgia Technical College as a Master Barber.  He used his God given talent to be successful and make a difference to the lives of others.

Aarion accepted Christ at an early age.  He was baptized by his Godfather, Pastor David L. Stanley, Sr. and remained a member of Union Baptist Church until his death. His parents and grandmother were extremely proud of him as they guided Aarion spiritually to ensure he knew the Lord for himself.  PROVERBS 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Aarion hobbies were cooking, his specialtiity barebecue, sports, fast cars, and trucks. His favorite phrase was “You feel me.”

On June 18, 2026, the Lord dispatched his angels and called Aarion to his Heavenly Home.  Aarion was preceded in death by his father, Grady Harris; his loving brother, Deshunta Q. Hicks, who is never to be forgotten and his beloved grandmother, Ruby Watson.

Aarion Q. Harris leaves to cherish his memories to his loving and devoted mother, Myderia Watson (Deacon Edgar Cooper, Sr.); nephew, Chandler Hicks; God father, Pastor David L. (Debra) Stanley; God mother, Vanette Davis; spiritual aunt, Lady Tanya Welch, Julie Lloyd, Helen Brezial, Thelma, and Harold Ziegler; a host of loving cousins, family, and friends.
